Dear Herkus,
I am studying my etiquette book and did you know there is an actual format for letters? I started this wrong.
My Dear Herkus,
How are you? Is the weather pleasant where you are? I am as well as can be expected. We had an unfortunate encounter on the road to the Necropolis. Several harpies and some skeletons attacked our party. We were triumphant in our battle but Torag once again was injured. We decided to take cover and let him rest for a short time.
The weather here is cold. I am unaccustomed to it but I am bearing as best I can.
I look forward to hearing from you again when we leave this place. I miss your company. I hope you are well.
With much love and affection,
Briar.
